Independence day

There’s no better time to reclaim your independence than with a Veteran on the 4th of July

The 4th of July, our nation’s Independence Day, is one of the most celebrated American holidays of the year. At CONVOYER it’s an especially beloved holiday as it celebrates our nation’s early heroes and the gift they gave us, The Declaration of Independence.

First, a brief history of the holiday. On July 2nd 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of the resolution for independence in a near-unanimous vote. On that day, John Adams wrote to his wife Abigail that July 2nd “will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival” and that the celebration should include “Pomp and Parade…Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other.” On July 4th, the Continental Congress formally adopted the Declaration of Independence. John Adams can rest assured that Pomp and Parade, Games, Sports, Bonfires and Illuminations continue to this day. Our goal at CONVOYER is to ensure you’re present for all of it.

At CONVOYER, we continually strive to deliver exceptional travel mobility services and accompanied travel to discerning clientele who want to keep experiencing all of life’s special moments.
